Customer Content & Data Processing

You retain full ownership of all video content you upload and all outputs generated from your content, including tags, embeddings, indexes, and metadata. Seeknetic does not claim ownership over customer content or derived outputs. You grant Seeknetic a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Services.

Data Usage & Model Training

By default, customer content is not used to train Seeknetic's foundation or general-purpose models. Aggregated, anonymized system-level metrics may be used to improve service reliability and performance. Any use of customer content for model improvement requires your explicit opt-in agreement.

Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

• Service providers who assist in operating our Services, subject to confidentiality obligations
• Law enforcement or regulatory authorities when required by law
• Third parties in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with prior notice

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest. ShotAI's local-first architecture ensures that your original video files remain on your device. During AI inference, only selected frame thumbnails and audio are transmitted to cloud infrastructure for processing and are deleted after processing is complete.

Infrastructure & Cross-Border Data Transfer

Our Services are built on a distributed infrastructure designed for performance, reliability, and compliance:

• Local Processing: Your original video files remain on your device. During AI inference for video understanding — including tagging and semantic indexing — selected frame thumbnails and audio are transmitted to globally distributed GPU infrastructure provided by third-party cloud partners for processing. This data is deleted upon completion. The specific processing location is determined by GPU provider routing and availability.
• Control & Routing Layer: Service orchestration, API gateway, and account management are hosted in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China, where Seeknetic Limited is incorporated.
• Agent Services: Advanced Agent capabilities powered by large language models may be processed on infrastructure located in mainland China or the United States, depending on service routing and availability.
• Cross-Border Safeguards: When data is processed across jurisdictions, we apply encryption in transit, contractual protections with infrastructure providers, and data minimization principles. Only selected frame thumbnails and audio necessary for the specific function are transmitted — your original video files remain on your device, and all transmitted data is deleted after processing is complete.

Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide Services. Upon account deletion, we will remove your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
